Kathy Bruce

I have always been interested in the natural history of objects and how they can be assembled to create poetic meaning. In this case, I have selected non-material elements: glass, air and water to symbolize ideas, sound, and movement associated with the inventions of Ben Franklin.

Bio

I would describe myself as a conceptual assemblage, collage sculptor, performance and wearable art/costume artist with a particular interest in poetry, text, theater and Surrealism.
