Gina Gilbert



Gina Gilbert has been a professional artist since 1998.

The breadth of her art and passion for, humor, knowledge, and meaning is evidenced by her playful pieces. Ms. Gilbert creates art that is largely figurative and interactive: life casts, masks, small and giant puppets, clay sculptures, animal art, quilts, wearable and non-wearable fiber art and even live body art with Henna.

Gina Gilbert, a member of the San Luis Museum of Art (SLOMA) in San Luis Obispo and Central Coast Sculptors Group in CA was chosen to be part of a show called “Occupies Space” now postponed til October 2020.  

One of the Goddess Figures (Image 4) will be in the Morro Bay Art Gallery.  The other will go to Nia Headquarters in Portland, Oregon.
