PS at PIFA Street Fair
Broad Street, Philadelphia
Visit our booth on Saturday, April 30, 2011 - 11 am – 7:30 pm

Join Philadelphia Sculptors on Saturday, April 30 for the PIFA Street Fair, the culminating event of the month-long Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts. The fair will include the arts and all things French, commemorating the Paris festival of the arts in 1911.

Broad Street will be transformed as tents replace cars, and thousands of pedestrians will sample French food, browse crafts booths, drink café au lait, watch arts performances, and of course, check out Philadelphia Sculptors. Rodin won't be there, but PS members will – demonstrating sculpture techniques and displaying their sculptures. PS members who have volunteered to demonstrate their techniques are: Colette Fu – pop up books; Joan Menapace – crocheting; Michael Morgan – brick carving; Anyta Thomas – screen masks; Roger Wing - wood carving; Gina Gruenberg - body casting.

Our booth will be promoting our organization and our members and it will be staffed from 11:00 am - 7:30 pm. Don't miss this unique event – this is as close to Paris in the springtime as you are likely to get in Philadelphia!
