Arnold Segal has worked as an illustrator, industrial engineer, human resource administrator and training and development officer. He retired in 1995 to devote full time to his avocation as a sculptor.
Arnie's work has appeared in magazines, newspaper articles, and on TV. He has received numerous awards, and has lectured at the Michener Museum, and his work was shown at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington.
A quote from one of many articles that have appeared in the press is the following in the Philadelphia Inquirer: “Many of Arnie’s unusual sculptures not only reflect his background in engineering and mechanics (i.e., they move and/or speak though the use of weights, solar energy electronics), but also indicate an active and sense of humor.”
