Janis B. Pinkston

My key inspirations are blues music, indigenous art from diverse cultures and the pure untutored vision of childrens' art.

I use mainly mixed media, found and recycled objects. My concern for the environment compels me to re-use cast-off items for creating the work which is social, political and personal in theme.
