As most of you know, we have been very busy during the past few months working on preparations for our “Catagenesis” exhibition at Globe Dye Works from September 9 –October 21, 2012. Some of you were able to join us in April for our “To Dye For” fundraiser at the magnificent home of member Etta Winigrad. If you were there, you were able to share in the anticipation of the show by watching the amazing video shown by installation artists John Phillips and Carolyn Healy. As two of the invited artists for “Catagenesis,” they created a sense of anticipation by sharing images of some of their previous works that hinted at some of the transformations they have in store for their upcoming room- size installation. Philadelphia Sculptors members, Elizabeth Mackie and Michael Morgan are also included in the show, adding to the diverse mix of local, national.... Click below to continue
